Senior Software Engineer – PC Media Management – User Applications

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for participating in the architectural design of our Home Networking Solution as well as taking a lead in the design, development, and testing of our User Applications.  The engineer will work on the Java-based multi-media management and user interface platform and will create software and design documentation in accordance with standard development guidelines. On-site work presence at our location is desired, but working from a remote location will be considered.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Experience with commercial software development
• Experience developing PC/Java Applications
• Extensive experience creating User Interfaces and applying Usability Practices
• In-depth knowledge of In-home Media distribution and UPnP
• Excellent Object Oriented Development Skills
• Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to excel within an informal startup environment with a flat organizational structure
• Demonstrated ability to deliver products on time.
• Strong academic credentials and a track record of high impact technical and leadership achievements.
• BSEE/BSCS 7+ years development experience. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
