Senior Software Embedded Developer – Diagnostic Lead

The candidate will provide valuable input towards the overall architectural design of the Prodea Systems’ Home Networking Solution.  Initially, the candidate will concentrate on participating and leading a multi-location team through successful delivery of our diagnostics capabilities.  The candidate will also be responsible for providing design, development, and testing of various components within the solution.  The candidate will work on the Home Networking Device and its corresponding sub-components and is expected to generate design and unit testing documents in accordance with standard development guidelines. Further, the candidate may be called upon to provide statuses and demonstrations to upper management and potential customers. This may or may not include travel.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Experience with commercial software development
• Excellent Object Oriented Development Skills
• Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to excel within an informal startup environment
• Demonstrated ability to deliver products on time.
• Ability to achieve a high level of performance by setting clear expectations
• Strong academic credentials and a track record of high impact technical and leadership achievements.
• BSEE/BSCS 10+ years development experience. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
