Senior Requirements and Planning Engineer

The Requirements and Planning Engineer’s responsibilities will include designing, defining and implementing complex system requirements throughout the product life cycle.  The position will work closely with Product Marketing and Engineering to turn market, product, and technical requirements into workable specifications for product development, QA testing, and technical documentation.  The position would manage all change control of requirements, track and report the requirements through development.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Consumer electronics requirements and planning experience in the areas of media, routing and/or IP-based telephony
• Clear understanding of and ability to implement and maintain an effective requirements process on complex software/embedded systems
• Expertise and knowledge of tools, methods, and software development process
• Must have the ability and confidence to work closely with all levels of the organization including engineering and product management to refine and define detailed product requirements.
• Team and group facilitation skills are critical.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
