Project Management

The Project Manager is responsible for monitoring all phases of various projects from initiation through development to delivery.   Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing project plan development and maintenance
  • Ensuring all leads use structured project management methodologies and tools
  • Tracking all work in progress across multiple projects, including milestones, to ensure quality standards are met and the program/project remains on schedule
  • Contributing to and/or proposing solutions to potential risks based on probability and impact on the project and suggesting actions to mitigate risk
  • Identifying internal and external factors jeopardizing the project and escalating issues when necessary
  • Ensuring that each project plan is kept up to date by the project leads
  • Developing and maintaining reporting tools to easily articulate project status to the senior management team
  • Tracking action items and ensuring they are completed in a timely fashion

Qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a project management position in a technical environment
    • specific experience supporting  a software development or operations organization desired
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • BS/BA required, PMP Certification highly recommended

  • Expert knowledge in MS Project and MS Excel
