Product Manager Description and Responsibilities Prodea Systems is seeking a product manager that will be responsible for developing and maintaining product programs for our solutions. The product manager will be responsible for monitoring Prodea Systems products from project start through field deployment, interfacing with customer on technical matters, and planning and directing resource schedules as well as project budgets. The product manager will be familiar with home networking products, IP-based communications methods, and digital content delivery. The product manager will write product requirements documents, strategy documents, product briefs, competitive and white papers. The product manager will also design and deliver product presentations to prospects and customers and provide technical support and directions to existing customers. Duties may also include organizing interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the products on schedule and within budget constraints. The product manager will help drive partner product qualification and selection. The product manager defines and documents requirements for customer launches based on customer requirements, RFIs/RFPs, and market analysis. There is routine interaction with design team to specify, plan, and track the schedule for UI, documentation and other collateral deliveries. The product manager will work with engineering team on partner launches, customizations, and bug fixes. Qualifications
