Embedded Linux Developers

The candidate will be responsible for providing design, development, and testing of components for Prodea Systems’ Home Networking Solution.  The candidate will also provide valuable input towards the overall architectural design.  Initially, the candidate will concentrate on integrating our 802.11N solution.  The candidate will work on the Home Networking Device and its corresponding sub-components. The candidate is expected to generate design and unit testing documents in accordance with standard development guidelines. Further, the candidate may be called upon to provide statuses and demonstrations to upper management and potential customers. This may or may not include travel.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Experience with commercial software development
• Excellent Object Oriented Development Skills
• Entrepreneurial drive and the ability to excel within an informal startup environment
• Demonstrated ability to deliver products on time.
• Ability to achieve a high level of performance by setting clear expectations
• Strong academic credentials and a track record of high impact technical and leadership achievements.
• BSEE/BSCS 3-7 years development experience. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
